Chicken Patties Recipe

These juicy and flavorful Chicken Patties are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or even sandwiches!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) ground chicken
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Mixture

In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, mayonnaise, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix until just combined (do not overmix).

Step 2: Shape the Patties

Form the mixture into small round patties (about 2–3 inches wide). You should get 8–10 patties.

Step 3: Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 75°C).

Step 4: Serve

Remove from the pan and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.

 Tips

  • You can bake them at 400°F (200°C) for 18–20 minutes instead of frying.
  • Add shredded zucchini or finely chopped onions for extra moisture.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, salad, or inside burger buns.
