Classic Eggs & Bacon Breakfast Plate
A hearty and simple breakfast featuring crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and perfectly fried eggs. Serves 2.
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 6–8 slices beef or turkey bacon
- 1 tablespoon butter (for scrambled eggs)
- 1 tablespoon oil or butter (for frying eggs)
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook the Bacon
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the bacon slices in a single layer.
- Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and crispy.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
Make the Scrambled Eggs
- Crack 2 eggs into a bowl.
- Add a pinch of salt and whisk until fully combined.
- Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a pan over low to medium heat.
- Pour in the eggs and gently stir with a spatula.
- Continue stirring slowly until the eggs are soft and fluffy.
- Remove from heat while still slightly creamy (do not overcook).
Fry the Eggs
- Add a little oil or butter to the pan if needed.
- Crack the remaining 2 eggs into the skillet.
- Cook over medium-low heat until the whites are set and the yolks remain runny (or cook longer for firm yolks).
- Season with salt and black pepper.
Serving Suggestion
Arrange the bacon, scrambled eggs, and fried eggs on a plate.
Serve immediately, optionally with toast or fresh fruit.
