Classic Eggs & Bacon Breakfast Plate

A hearty and simple breakfast featuring crispy bacon, fluffy scrambled eggs, and perfectly fried eggs. Serves 2.

 Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 6–8 slices beef or turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for scrambled eggs)
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter (for frying eggs)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

 Instructions

 Cook the Bacon

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the bacon slices in a single layer.
  3. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, until browned and crispy.
  4. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.

 Make the Scrambled Eggs

  1. Crack 2 eggs into a bowl.
  2. Add a pinch of salt and whisk until fully combined.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a pan over low to medium heat.
  4. Pour in the eggs and gently stir with a spatula.
  5. Continue stirring slowly until the eggs are soft and fluffy.
  6. Remove from heat while still slightly creamy (do not overcook).

 Fry the Eggs

  1. Add a little oil or butter to the pan if needed.
  2. Crack the remaining 2 eggs into the skillet.
  3. Cook over medium-low heat until the whites are set and the yolks remain runny (or cook longer for firm yolks).
  4. Season with salt and black pepper.

 Serving Suggestion

Arrange the bacon, scrambled eggs, and fried eggs on a plate.
Serve immediately, optionally with toast or fresh fruit.
