Chocolate Fudge Cake (Ultra Moist & Gooey)

 Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 packet baking powder (or 2 tsp)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup hot water

For the Chocolate Fudge Sauce:

  • 200 g dark or milk chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional, for shine)

For Topping:

  • Chocolate sprinkles

 Instructions

 Make the Cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F)
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
  3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla — mix well
  4. Slowly add hot water and stir (batter will be thin — that’s normal)
  5. Pour into a greased baking pan
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes
  7. Let cool completely

 Make the Chocolate Fudge Sauce:

  1. Heat heavy cream until warm (not boiling)
  2. Pour over chopped chocolate
  3. Let sit 1 minute, then stir until smooth
  4. Add butter if desired for extra richness

Assemble the Cake:

  • Pour chocolate fudge sauce over cooled cake
  • Sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top
  • Slice and serve

 Tips for Perfect Gooey Texture:

  • Brush cake with a little milk or coffee before adding sauce
  • Refrigerate for 1 hour for extra fudgy texture
  • Serve with vanilla ice cream
