 Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Beef Filling:

  • 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp butter or oil

For the Sandwich:

  • 8 slices thick sandwich bread
  • 8–12 slices cheese (American, Cheddar, Mozzarella, or Swiss)
  • 3 tbsp butter (softened, for spreading bread)

Optional Sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

 Instructions

Step 1 — Cook the Beef

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add butter or oil, then sauté the chopped onion until soft.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Add ground beef, salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cook until browned. Drain excess grease and set aside.
