Funnel Cake Bites – Crispy, Sweet & Perfectly Mini!
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix until smooth — the batter should be pourable but not watery.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat (about 350°F / 175°C).
- Pour batter into a piping bag, squeeze bottle, or plastic bag with a small corner cut.
- Pipe small bite-sized circles or zigzags into the hot oil.
- Fry for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Dust generously with powdered sugar.
