 Funnel Cake Bites – Crispy, Sweet & Perfectly Mini!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  2. Add milk, egg, and vanilla. Mix until smooth — the batter should be pourable but not watery.
  3. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat (about 350°F / 175°C).
  4. Pour batter into a piping bag, squeeze bottle, or plastic bag with a small corner cut.
  5. Pipe small bite-sized circles or zigzags into the hot oil.
  6. Fry for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  8. Dust generously with powdered sugar.
