 Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites

 Ingredients:

For the biscuit dough (choose one):

Option 1 – Store-bought dough (easy):

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough

Option 2 – Homemade dough:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed
  • ¾ cup milk

For the cinnamon sugar coating:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For cooking:

  • Vegetable oil for frying
    or
  • Melted butter (for baking)

 Instructions:

 Prepare the dough:

  • Store-bought:
    Cut each biscuit into small, bite-size pieces.
  • Homemade:
    In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
    Cut in the cold butter until the mixture looks crumbly.
    Add milk and mix until a soft dough forms.
    Roll into small balls.

 Fry or bake:

🔸 Frying (best flavor ):

  • Heat oil over medium heat.
  • Fry the dough bites until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels.

 Baking (lighter option):

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Place dough bites on a baking sheet.
  • Brush with melted butter.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden.

 Cinnamon sugar coating:

  • Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
  • While the biscuit bites are still warm, toss them in the cinnamon sugar until fully coated.

 Optional add-ins & serving ideas:

  • Dust with powdered sugar
  • Serve with vanilla glaze or caramel sauce
  • Add a small piece of chocolate inside each bite before cooking
