Homemade 2-Ingredient Condensed Milk
Delicious, economical, and easy to make!
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Pour the milk and sugar into a saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the sugar completely dissolves.
- Once it starts to boil, reduce the heat to low.
- Let the mixture simmer gently for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens and reduces by about half.
- Remove from heat and let it cool. It will thicken more as it cools.
- Store in a clean jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Notes & Tips
- Do not let it boil rapidly, or it may burn.
- Stir often to avoid sticking to the bottom.
- Use whole milk for the best creamy texture.
