Turkey Cranberry Sandwich
Sweet, savory, and cozy—this sandwich is perfect for lunch, brunch, or using up leftover turkey
Ingredients (US measures)
- 8 slices brioche or sourdough bread
- 12 slices roasted turkey breast
- ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 4 slices Swiss cheese or provolone (optional but recommended)
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise (or cream cheese for a richer taste)
- 2 tbsp Dijon or honey mustard (optional)
- 2 tbsp butter, softened (for grilling)
- Fresh lettuce or baby spinach (optional)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Option 1: Cold Sandwich
- Spread mayonnaise (or cream cheese) on one side of each bread slice.
- Add a layer of turkey slices.
- Spoon cranberry sauce evenly over the turkey.
- Add cheese and lettuce/spinach if using.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, cut in half, and serve.
Option 2: Grilled Turkey Cranberry Sandwich (Highly Recommended )
- Spread mayo or cream cheese on the inside of the bread slices.
- Layer turkey, cranberry sauce, and cheese.
- Close the sandwiches.
- Butter the outside of each sandwich.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Grill sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove, slice, and enjoy warm 🤍
