Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

Creamy, cheesy, loaded with flavor — total comfort food favorite!

 Ingredients

  • 12 oz (340 g) pasta (penne, rotini, or bowtie)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced or shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or half & half)
  • 1 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Optional:

  • ½ cup mozzarella or Monterey Jack cheese
  • Chopped parsley or green onions for garnish

 Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook bacon & chicken
    • In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
    • In the same skillet, add olive oil or butter.
    • Add chicken, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
    • Cook until heated through and lightly golden.
  3. Make it creamy
    • Lower heat and add garlic, ranch dressing, and cream.
    • Stir well and simmer 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add cheese & pasta
    • Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
    • Add cooked pasta and bacon. Toss until fully coated.
  5. Finish & serve
    Taste and adjust seasoning. Garnish with parsley or green onions.

 Serving Tips

  • Serve hot with garlic bread or a fresh salad
  • Want it baked? Transfer to a dish, top with cheese, bake 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes
