Honey Butter Skillet Corn

Sweet, creamy, and savory corn cooked in a buttery honey sauce—an easy side dish everyone loves!

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 16 ounces frozen corn (no need to thaw)
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • (Optional) a pinch of paprika or chili flakes
  • (Optional) 1 tablespoon milk or cream for extra creaminess

 Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  2. Add the honey and stir until combined and smooth.
  3. Add the frozen corn and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until heated through and slightly golden.
  4. Stir in the cream cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Cook and stir until the cream cheese is fully melted and the corn is creamy.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  7. Remove from heat and serve warm.

  • Perfect as a side dish for grilled chicken, steak, or burgers
  • Garnish with fresh parsley or chives
  • For less sweetness, reduce the honey to 1 tablespoon
