LOADED BAKED POTATO WITH STEAK BITES
Fluffy baked potatoes stuffed with garlic butter steak bites and drizzled with creamy parmesan sauce.
INGREDIENTS
Potatoes
- 4 large russet potatoes, scrubbed and dried
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Steak Bites
- 1½ lb (700 g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-size cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Creamy Parmesan Sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Optional Toppings
- Sour cream
- Extra parmesan cheese
- Chopped chives or green onions
INSTRUCTIONS
Bake the Potatoes
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pierce potatoes with a fork several times.
- Rub with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place directly on oven rack and bake 50–60 minutes until tender.
Cook the Steak Bites
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add steak cubes, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Sear 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
- Lower heat, add butter and minced garlic.
- Toss steak in garlic butter for 1 minute, then remove from heat.
Make the Parmesan Sauce
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in parmesan until smooth and creamy.
- Season with salt & pepper.
Assemble
- Slice baked potatoes open and fluff the inside with a fork.
- Top with steak bites.
- Drizzle generously with parmesan sauce.
- Add sour cream, chives, or extra cheese if desired.
