Ingredients
- 8 slices thick sandwich bread
- 8 slices mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices cheddar cheese, halved
- 8 slices bacon
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- Optional for serving: ketchup, ranch, or marinara sauce
Instructions
- Prepare the bread
Trim the crusts off all the bread slices. Flatten each slice slightly using a rolling pin. - Add the cheese
Place 1 slice of mozzarella and 1 half slice of cheddar on each piece of bread. Roll the bread tightly into a log (finger shape). - Wrap with bacon
Wrap one slice of bacon around each bread roll, overlapping slightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed. - Cook the fingers
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium heat.
- Lightly butter the pan.
- Place the bacon-wrapped fingers seam-side down and cook, turning often, until the bacon is crispy and the cheese is melted (about 8–10 minutes).
Alternative:
Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes, turning halfway, until bacon is golden and crispy. - Serve
Let cool for 1–2 minutes, remove toothpicks, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips
- For extra crispiness, brush the bacon lightly with butter or honey before cooking.
- You can swap cheddar for pepper jack or smoked cheese for a flavor twist.
