Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs
Rich, fudgy brownies wrapped around edible chocolate chip cookie dough—these bite-sized treats are pure chocolate heaven!
Ingredients
For the Cookie Dough (Edible – No Eggs):
- ¾ cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (heat-treated*)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
For the Brownies:
- 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients listed on the box: usually eggs, oil, water)
Optional Topping:
- Melted chocolate (milk or dark)
- Chocolate sprinkles or mini chips
*To heat-treat flour: microwave flour in a bowl for 1–2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until it reaches 165°F / 74°C. Let cool completely.
Instructions
1. Make the Cookie Dough
- In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add milk and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Stir in heat-treated flour and salt until combined.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips.
- Scoop small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place on a tray.
- Freeze for at least 30 minutes until firm.
2. Prepare the Brownies
- Prepare the brownie batter according to package instructions.
- Bake in a lined pan as directed.
- Let brownies cool completely, then crumble them into a large bowl.
3. Assemble the Brownie Bombs
- Take a small handful of crumbled brownie and flatten it in your hand.
- Place a frozen cookie dough ball in the center.
- Wrap the brownie around the dough, rolling into a ball.
- Repeat until all dough balls are used.
4. Decorate (Optional)
- Drizzle with melted chocolate or roll in sprinkles for extra flair
